Following the pandemic, we continue to offer flexible group delivery so that people can meet together safely, both in person and online.
The groups normally meet every two weeks in the evening for two hours, beginning at 7pm and ending at 9pm. They are very popular and well attended and each session provides social activities which reflect each group’s preference. We have groups based in Beccles and Norwich.
There is something for everyone in the choice of activities run at the indoor sessions including the following:
- bingo
- quiz
- board games
- karaoke
- talent contest
- show and tell
- guest speakers e.g. therapy artists, autism researchers, musicians, employment advisers
Outside activities and at other venues include:
- pub visit
- walk by the river and a chip supper
- attending a gaming cafe
- bowling
- cafe in Norwich
- trampoline park
- laser tag
- city ghost walk
- restaurant visit
- cookery class at City College
- wall climbing
Ideas and suggestions for activities in the future are always welcome!
As well as all this, we organise an annual programme of trips and visits subject to funding. For example, a visit to a London museum, Jimmy’s Farm and tea and cake on the Norfolk Broads!
